Elephants

This is a piece of work for a college project that is sooooo late its hardly worth bothering with! but i had to do it and do it i did. it was fun drawing elephants. my most fav animal in the world! but the image doesnt really fit the brief! as long as i scrape a pass for this one it'll be ok!!! enjoy

oh the pain of doing a self portrait. ok so it's not my favourite thing to do.
FACES!!
i see them everyday,my own many times a day (not that i'm vain and spend half the day looking in a mirror or nuffin!! LOL) so why is it i find it sooo hard to put a head,some hair,two eyes ,a nose and a mouth all together in one image and make it look human!!!! it's a bizarre thing.

Well i knuckled down to draw myself and blow me down if it aint half baad!!! it does look like me,even though i thinned my face a touch and gave myself extra lush eyelashes.Artistic license at it's best LOL.

anyway it is done and i am pleased. :0)

it was great fun to draw andcolour and its almost finished. i just need to add something else in the fridge and i'll be moving on to the next picture! yipeeeeeeeeeee how easily i discard them once they are finished!!!! LOL

james and the giant peach

i really really didnt wanna do this project as i felt like every way in which this bookcover could be drawn it probably had!!! but i went away and had a moment of an idea and even though im sure its not the most original, i really like it and enjoyed drawing it.i used pale yellowy cream paper which is quite rough in texture for this project. i love pencil crayons on different coloured backgrounds and thought this time i would try a different texture as well. i dunno if it really added anything that different but it kinda gives it an old feel. think i was going for something different and have again managed to go for old!!!!!!! LOL oh well i guess i'm not a modern woman! hahahaa!

poems project

ok so more college stuff!!!
we have been given a list of random odd and even boring poems and told to choose 6 to illustrate.i cant say i was overwhelmed with excitment about this project but thats just coz its been coloured by the stress of impending deadlines for essays!!!! grrrrrr
after this week the head should be a bit clearer and as the pictures have progressed i have got more into them. strangly i seem to be picking poems that have a death theme!!! LOL i wonder what that says about my mood .i will put up a couple that im pleased with. The one i am currently working on is a heart in a jar in a fridge!!! niiiice!!!! well here goes. enjoy. xxxx <3
